I don't know anyone from Cardiff and surrounding area who has got tickets through the BBC and I know/know of at least 60 who entered.

The only person I know who is going is a friend of a friend from London who is going to be driving to Blackwood and then down to Cardiff to stay with me on the night. He said in an email a couple of days ago, "It'll be good to get there early and have a couple of hours to explore Blackwood." I think he might be disappointed when it only takes 5 minutes.

That's basically what I'm doing. Hoping to have a few drinks, I hope that's not too much of a tall order.

The Stagecoach number 26 bus would get you there from Wood Street Cardiff, but you wouldn't be able to get back after the gig to Cardiff.

When I was in the job centre tyhey were sending round a message to customers that they were closing the roads in Blackwood and to bugger off home. So er yeah, again good luck to those going actually getting there. Good luck to the Manics getting their stuff there and all.

Between the weather and James, this week of manics activity looks like it could be a total write off.

I'm thinking this might get cancelled as well, seeing as the re-scheduled Birmingham and Brixton gigs were meant to take place on a Tuesday and Thursday/Friday.
