It's all ready a big surprise that he accepted to work with the Manics once. Apparently he made Nirvana pay about 200 times for In Utero what the Pixies paid for Surfer Rosa five years earlier just because Nirvana were a successful major band

Especially when he fobbed them off that time earlier in their career (I think, dunno if I've just dreamed that up - he did treat them with disdain at some point!)
