I figure that if I go to enough gigs, and wait outside at them, then chances are I'll get to meet them at one of the gigs.

True...i need to start saving so i can go to more than 1 gig on each tour

dec 2002 brighton: almost missed my train! Manics came out that evening and i missed them

dec 2004 brighton: waited but they didnt come out

dec 2004 cardiff: queued 11 hours and was cancelled

Jan 2005: had tickets for CD:UK but had a hep b injection and had a dodgy reaction and so was waaaaaaaaay too ill to go

soton 2005: I was with dad and had to go...

london x 2 2005: 1st one they didnt come out,2nd one I was in the aftershow!

doh Im most annoyed about missing CD:UK!!

That is unlucky....erm..but...tshirt (thats my answer to everything now, "he signed your tshirt!" )

Hard to believe, but 1 year ago today the Manics started their "Lifeblood" tour at the Brighton Centre. I was there, along with Lindz. Great gig, support slot from Hope Of The States. Nicky wore a skirt (cue a very happy Lindz) and Hannah (4real) took her infamous "crotch shot".

Lordy, I cannot believe a whole year has passed, that's just not normal.

Very nice memories of that opening date though, and they were really on form too. Opening with 1985 was the best decision they made - corking. Plus, Nicky looked extremely nice. Well, they all did, that can't be denied.
