"Go West" is totally Manics' style.

My boyfriend lectures in Sociology. Today he played Anthem for a Lost Cause to his Sociology 101 students.

While I'm still pretty peeved with him over losing us our dream home yesterday I do have a grudging respect that he managed that one (FYI - he said none of them knew the song but they enjoyed it none the less).

A friend just met Traci Lords at some comic convention, he got her to sign that photo of her with Richey and Nicky. Wonder what she thinks of that song now.

I met Traci at the London Convention too. She signed both my CD and Deluxe editions of Generation Terrorists and I had a photo taken with her.

I asked if she had good memories of working with the Manics and she said she thought they were a really cool band and she had enjoyed the experience. She also commented on how sad it was that Richey had disappeared. I liked her, she was really nice to talk to.

I don't know how to post photo's on here, otherwise I would have attached some...

Will somebody buy this to stop it coming up in my eBay "Feminine Is Beautiful" saved search?

Also I keep getting emails for the same search for a book full of pictures of hairy lady parts so if you like the above dress and this book sounds interesting to you, do me a favour and help me narrow down my eBay saved searches. Not that I can afford to be eBaying right now. Ta.

Who wrote it? Dylan Thomas or the Manic Street Preachers?

Never read any Dylan Thomas but still got 16/16, guess I know when a line isn't a Manics line.

Same here. That was too easy. And most of those lyrics came from From Despair to Where, they could have put the whole song this way, hah.

So.... I've got this friend from France, who, of course, studies here in Korea, we're taking some same classes, that's how I met her. And one day when we kinda started talking about music, when I asked, she told me she liked rock music. And I asked the predictable question. She said she didn't know them, so I promised her I'd lend her stuff from them. And I decided to introduce them with.... well, ALL of the official albums.
I'm curious about her impressions when I see her near the end of next week.
