Amy606 - I have emailed someone at the Council who is involved in the event. It's a complete long shot as he doesn't know me but you never know. Anyway, if something does come of it, I'll try and get one for you too. In case that unlikely event happens, could you PM me your name please in case he needs it. I would PM you but my phone won't do it.

I've just got an email from Real Radio saying "I have contacted winners in the order that our computer gave me them. However, a few winners that I left a message with have not come back to me yet. I have given them until lunchtime to get back to me and if they don’t then I will continue down the list and call up a few more listeners to offer the tickets to them. If you haven’t heard from me by 2pm then unfortunately you are not a winner this time"

My contact at the Council has come up trumps and I'm on the guestlist! Fabulous. In about two minutes I went from 0 tickets to having 2...so stress over.
Slatex - check your PM's there's a ticket if you want it.

Well that was just brilliant. He was on the 'stage' for about 45 minutes, and played You Stole The Sun, Everything Must Go, Tolerate, This Is The Day, Your Love Alone, and A Design For Life. My brain is a little frazzled, I can't remember if there was anything else.

He answered questions on lots of subjects (guitars, GT, artists amongst others) but I need help from other FDers to tell you it all....but I did overhear him say to someone afterwards that this is it for 2 years.

I got a photo at the end with him, it's not the finest picture the world will ever see but I am happy enough (more the subjects not the photographer mind!). He said he had to be quick to get back to his wife in Cardiff I think. Amy got a photo too, I hope it came out ok.

Nice to meet you both Amy and John, and also Shelly. I had never met anyone off here before but it was really nice.

I will upload photos now if I can work out how.
