We have become used to getting to hear more than one song from the albums - and not just because the whole thing leaks. Didn't Glasnost get played on the radio around the same time as TLORN for no apparent reason? Then Zane Lowe famously decided to ignore JFPL's focus track and tear our faces off with Peeled Apples instead.

And for SATT we had the NME thingy gig where we heard Autumnsong and I'm Just a Patsy for the first time long before we had any idea about YLAINE (and similarly with Lifeblood, the IOW gig's Empty Souls and Solitude + Everything Will Be somewhere else).

The secret launch thingy gig is in a day so we'll probably get to hear more then. Provided someone's bootlegging it.

It was the XFM Winter Wonderland gig in 2006 that we heard Patsy and Autumnsong first.

Yeah 6music got carried away with Lifeblood, think it was Phil Jupitus who used to play them in the morning, Im sure we got another track as well as TLORN and Glasnost

I've left this thread up because the subsequent posts form a fairly interesting debate, but requests for leaks on the forum are not allowed, sorry.

the new album will be nice and all that, but it's not like there's a shortage of existing Manics material to listen to in the mean time. for the last couple of days i've had JFPL in the car, and not once have i said "damn i wish i had the new album on instead".

for those really desperate, if we are to take Nicky at his word, do a mix of Forever Delayed, Queen Greatest Hits and any GnR album you care to choose.
