You Stole the Sun from My Heart would probably be the best Manics song for a wedding, though I personally don't like it, or perhaps their cover of Umbrella.

Horses Under Starlight is quite a nice Instrumental to have i would have thought, dreamy Bradfield, Bada Dada dada bada da.

Havew a good one.

Thinking about is Dead Passive would not be a good choice!

Cheesy disco all the way for the evening,

The DJ has had 4 Manics requests though - which must be played during

Umbrella
Stay Beautiful
Motorcycle Emptiness

and

Design For Life - Last song of the night..

so should be awesome

Also, Dizzee Rascal is banned!

Oh wow - the Manics don't do love songs, only love gone wrong songs! I think that The Everlasting is a beautiful song, but with lyrics like "The gap that grows between our lives" - not the best way to start off the marriage. The Stealth Sonic Orchestra version of Motorcycle Emptiness is really lovely, but may not be very danceable, even swaying side-to-side.

Let us know what you choose, and congratulations!

Door To The River, perhaps. Or the Manics version of Can't Take My Eyes Off You. It's a tricky one, because they aren't really a love song sort of band! Congratulations though and I hope your day is wonderful, regardless of whether you manage to pick a song.

Happy Ending

Congratualtions on your day and hope you have a brilliant marriage!
And lucky you having a bride who would recognize and appreciate a Manics b-side being played?

I'd agree with what Emma said, either Door to the River or Can't Take My Eyes Off You. For christ's sake don't pick Life Becoming a Landslide anyway.
