How the fuck can we judge yet?! Oh in that case I think they'll release a single only song called It's Not cheese Just The End Of Omelette's, a 5 minute lament to the decline of the Welsh farming industry

(Though I do think they'll release the Ian McCulluch song just for the star name attached)

Without even hearing a note, I still see the fun in picking tunes just from the titles!

I think the second single will be around November and will be Some Kind Of Nothingness. It'll be good to hear around Christmas time. (In fact I'm still wishing for another Xmas single!)

I know they've mentioned EMG interviews, but I'll be suprised if they release the title track from this? Unless that turns out to be one of the best tracks on the album...

We've all got an idea how the video to All We Make Is Entertainment would go, but I think Golden Platitudes will be the third single released next year.

If you say I can't possibly know (and I don't) without hearing a song, you may as well say you can't tell who would win the World Cup? You've seen the various teams play, and you know from past experience what the Manics do.

Some Kind Of Nothingness
Golden Platitudes

And if pressed for a fourth single Hazelton Avenue.

The winner of this thread gets a job at a Zoo in Spain...

True...though I do like the idea of Paul The Octopus picking the singles for them

I hope they try to go for the impossible task fo the Christmas number 1, maybe if they did a facebook campaign would begin around them this year.

Going by alot of albums I like, there tend to be three singles placed amongst the first five songs.

In the Manics world, that's certainly true for GT, GATS, EMG, TIMT, KYE and SATT.

The second will be Some Kind of Nothingness, the third will be either A Billion Balconies Facing The Sun, the title track or All We Make Is Entertainment. I don't think that there will be a fourth single, the album's got to be super massive mega seller to get that.

If that's ever a single, I'll buy a million copies myself just to get it to number one.

All we Make is Entertainment I would hazard a guess at.

Just seems the kind of single Nicky would want to release, a statement for him in someway.

I reckon the singles will probably be (without any prior knowledge of what they sound like):

It's Not War - Just The End Of Love
Postcards From a Young Man
A Billion Balconies Facing The Sun

I don't think they'll release the duet, personally, especially not if it's a first single.

If there are any more singles, and again without prior knowledge of what the tracks sound like, my suggestions are:

1 - (It's Not War) - Just The End Of Love
2 - Some Kind of Nothingness
3 - All We Make Is Entertainment

2 - Some Kind Of Nothingness
3 - Golden Platitudes
4 - Don't Be Evil

(I'm hoping for the full 4 singles, they owe us a few!)
