Send Away The Tigers is very poor vocally. Williams Last Words is rather iffy too

No way! I really like his vocals on Send Away The Tigers, especially during the verses.
TLORN live on Top of the Pops is the worst I've ever heard James sing, but the studio performance is great.

Yeah James' range can't go that low, it works on the album because it's obviously been modified. But you can really hear him struggling to control it, his voice starts shaking live.

agreed. Although I still believe that James has one of the best, if not the best, voices in the business. Name me one other singer who can sing with as much power and passion...

1). The Alfred J Prufrock line from My Guernica
2). The 'slave begins' bit on Masses. and especially... 3). The 'American' accent on Nostalgic Pushead. |

If we're talking about pronunciations, 'Life as autonotomes'?

True, but the vocal delivery/production could've been better - there are plenty of examples on other songs that aren't happy.

Love Nostalgic Pushead! And it doesn't sound like an American accent to me.

I do actually like the song, that vocal bit is really grating though!
