^ Please remember: The Manics are having a thing for bad videos. It's something very unlikely to change in the near future, I only hope the upcoming ones won't be that bad.

If they want to build a huge image, they should team up with Jonas Åkerlund, he can make a popstar out of anyone.

I hope they're not setting themselves up for a fall with all these refs to "mass communication" and "radio hits" - record-buyers and radio producers can be a contrary bunch. Can't remember another, established band coming out with "hits" as their answer to what a new album will be about, but I suppose that's what we love about them.

If it is as fkn scary as it sounds (gospel choirs?!), I hope they at least get their 16 million sales out of it.

And yeah, as someone said, every interview we'll ALWAYS hear about "last shot at mass communication", it'll be like last years "I got a folder with Bugs Bunny on it" which was said in EVERY interview or article.
Blur did a similar thing with the reunion interviews - in pretty much every interview Alex James said "it’s a bit like putting the A-Team back together. We had to bust Dave out of law school."

Record label I'd imagine, and if you're registered for their website a while ago you'd have given them your address when you registered don't suppose they ask these days. Its a nice touch though I can't remember getting a postcard since probably the first TIMT tour. I guess theres been slipcases since though.

I think you underestimate a lot of people on this site.

Also, I want a postcard.

I haven't received a Manics postcard since This Is My Truth. Oasis still keep sending me them, though. I must have registered my details with them in 1994 and I'm currently fearing getting another one for Time Flies and the disapproval from my postie that comes with it. I think I've already had one for Time Flies, actually.
