What songs would you like MSP to cover

Manics covers are very hit and miss. I'd say my favourites are "Rock and Roll Music", "Been a Son" and "We are all Bourgeois now", but there have been some awful ones also.

But what songs would you like the Manics to cover?

I'd like to hear either a massive stadium version "Satellite of love" by Lou Reed, "So far so good" or "How does it feel" by Slade* or a reinvention of "The light pours out of me" by Magazine (with Nicky stamping is foot along to the bass like he did to Faster).

*I know James hates his voice being compared to Nods' however I can't listen to these songs without thinking about the Manics.

The Cure's Boys Don't Cry.

Maybe Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves too.

Something by The Jam, like Thick as Thieves or similar. That would work well.

I always thought the Libertines would do a good version of Thick as Thieves, though What became of the likely lads is quite similar.

Magazine is a good call, although I can see Nicky doing the singing. Moz's cover of satellite of love was awesome - that would be another good one.

Welcome to the jungle for me

We Can Make a Difference by Jem and The Holograms. I can totally reimagine this the Manics way and with James' vocals and way of singing. Only maybe the lyrics are a bit too optimist.
