Yes, just got the email confirming postponement and rearranged for 2 November 2 mins after your text Rob.

Train tickets from Edinburgh to Carlisle and back to Aberdeen bought and I can't get the money back for them as they are specified times etc. Also, got hotel on a cheap so won't get that cash back either. Will also need to get a new ticket to get home from Edinburgh now. At least I can watch the last day of the Ryder Cup.

So glad I bought the Memento box now!

If they were advance tickets you can get your money back minus a £10 admin fee

Cool, I'll have to head down and see what they say. They were fairly cheap anyway, but would be nice to get something back. Thanks

Bugger now I have to cancel my hotel! Damn you. I'll treat myself to the boxset with the money saved so they get my hard earned dollar one way or the other!

Hmmm, might have to sell my Cambridge ticket now seeing as I thought that was going to be the last night of the tour and something special - obviously not now.

I don't think the 'last night' thing means as much as it used to. They used to conclude tours in Cardiff, or even London, and there was a real sense of occasion. SATT tour finished in Reading, if I remember rightly, and it was an OK gig, but still, doesn't really have that sense of time and place.

Or try writing to the train company's customer relations department, they might do a full refund in travel vouchers if you come up with a good enough reason.

Reading was a strange place to end the tour but I had such a brilliant weekend there and the gig was pretty good too.
