I totally LOVE the album ( and not just because I am obsessed with the wonderful Nicky) I have it on my cd changer in the car all the time and whenever it comes on it makes me smile. It's original, poetic, not perfect at all and really beautiful and there are just some of the reasons I love it. To anyone that hasn't got it yet I encourage you to have a listen, it really is a fantastic piece of music, uplifting, non-comercial and brilliant.

Actually I was 100% sure that "Kimino rock" would become a hit....but I havenīt heard it on the Radio a single time.....thatīs just sad. Brilliant song.

Despite the fact that Nicky isn't exactly a great singer, not the best of musicians, and I don't fancy him cos I'm male, I totally love the album. There's something about it that just works, it's brilliant. I wouldn't say complete masterpiece cos I can't listen to So Much For The Future, but the rest of the album is superb. Oh, and it needs bass, would just take it up to the top level.

Best Manics-related album since EMG

one of my favourite albums from last year. I would never thought I would prefer Nicky's album to both James' and SATT.

It's just something about the album, really stands out as a down to earth, honest, nice piece of work. Remind me a bit of New Order (sometimes), but only much better.

Its as good a low fi alternative LP as anything ive heard, its so Nicky, everything about it, so perfect. lyrically amazing but the songs are sweet aswell, still filthy manics feel to it but its a stunning album. sort of chaotic

It's such a great album, I think it's one of those underrated hidden gems.

Does anyone know what the difference between the normal album and the limited edition album is??

The limited edition has a (hidden?) bonus track of Nicky covering Echo & The Bunnymen's Ocean Rain.

cool, thanks for that.

I have it, but it looked to pretty in it's wrapping to open because I know I'd fall on it or spill something on it or lose it or it get eaten by a dinosaur or something in my house, so I haven't unwrapped it yet!
