Dunno if Ed Milliband fans would go for it.

This album's a little funny as it's very accessible, but I don't personally hear a lot of singles on it. INW is very obviously a single, but considering the singles market in this day and age, I'm not really sure any of the other songs are strong contenders to be the next.

A damning indictment if ever I've seen one.

Some Kind of Nothingness / A Billion Balconies Facing The Sun - double A-single.

Then Golden Platitudes as the "fourth" single.

I really don’t see the point in releasing any more singles once the album is out. Oasis used to have the right idea – I think before they released ‘What’s The Story Morning Glory’ they put out 3 singles, and then released Wonderwall to more or less co-incide with the album release. Doing this meant that everyone bought the singles, because they didn’t already own the album. Then when the album came out, everyone still went and bought it on the strength of the singles already released!! Seems as though now, the automatic thing to do is release the single, and then the album a week later. Then, pretty much any future singles just disappear without trace and struggle to chart.

In terms of the next single, I’d love to see ‘All We Make Is Entertainment’, pretty radio friendly but good content in the lyrics as well.

Any confirmation of that anywhere or is it just radio DJs saying it? Come on Official site dont make the mistake of not publiscing these things, if it's going to be out in November get the details and promo on the roll now

Hello All. Long time reader, first time poster here.

Postcards & SKON are fairly interchangable for 2nd & 3rd single (my choice would be Postcards & then SKON but I think they would be just as successful released the other way around!)

So really we're talking about a 4th single (if it happens & I think this album is strong enough to hold up to that as you'd still have 5 other stand out tracks to discover on the album if you weren't a true Manics-ophile ;->) My choice would be Hazleton Avenue as it was the 1st track that I started whistling around the house after I'd listened to the album a few times & i can remember doing that with EMG when it was a single.

The first four tracks on the album do look like a classic left, left, right, left combination though so wouldn't be surprised if The Descent crept in as 4th release (as cheeeeesy as it is musically!)

A 4th single would give the album some more symmetry with EMG (12 tracks, kitchen sink production, tour of small-ish venues to start, heavy promotional 'campaign' etc) which the band keep stating as Postcards benchmark buuuuuuuuuut with the way record labels are acting recently you're probably right to be sceptical.

Tis a shame cos I was looking forward to coming to Dudley to see the crazy naked lady running around covered in hedgehog spikes!!!

Release All We Make Is Entertainment as a single. Wouldn't that song do good on the radio?
