Call me a traditionalist, but I like to listen to them with my ears.

I just go through phases of listening to particular albums. Haven't listened to The Holy Bible in what must be well over a year though oddly enough.

I have all songs on my laptop.

I mainly listen to the whole albums from the beginning to the end, but sometimes stop on one song and play it a couple of times. sometimes I choose one song and play it until I'm fed of it - like 20 plays of The Everlasting

I hardly ever choose songs from different eras, if I do so it's b-sides (that are put into one folder) or Forever Delayed.

I listened to the albums one after another from GT to JFPL twice, I haven't done it with PFAYM though, I should I know.

I've wanted to do that with the albums in order too, haven't gotten around to it though.

I do a lot of driving and have listened to it about 3 times in the last month. From start to end, even though I hate 'Lifeblood'.
I've got a playlist in order of just singles and one of just b-sides myself, it's a nice experience to hear them changing and growing over time.

I only listen to music on the mp3 player on my phone either on the way to or back from work. I have about 10 Manics songs out of the 1200 tracks on my phone and tend to listen to them if they come on, although I do occasionally skip them. I never skip condemned to rock n roll, stay beautiful or crucifix kiss because I quite like those these days.

On CD on my stereo. I never listen to music on headphones unless it's late at night and even then it's only songs on my Ipod Touch which has not one MSP song on it's play list!

Thats it, you can hear them mature and evolve, one album to next!

Had them ripped to my computer and made a great playlist of them. forgot to include TIMT,GATS and GT but was happy with what I had. Then my computer started going slow, so I deleted them all and now have to make do with listening to them CD by CD like the other mortals.
But yes, the Manics were designed for shuffle, but as long as the playlist is full of other Manics albums!
*Goes off to calculate how many editions of FD you could make out of all the tracks album, single and b-sides?
If each FD= 20 then...
