He fell down in Pukkelpop 2008- first notes of the opening song Motorcycle emptiness. During the second song (You Stole The Sun) his guitar failed (Who stole the sound from my fucking guitar! ) Miserable start of the set, that was!

I have the whole set on video going mouldy in a box in the garage. There are lots of spooky shots where the guy filming zooms in on Richey's face and Richey stares right into the camera. James was in a stroppy mood that day.

Well it is good that he is a short man. He does not take much time in falling over but can you imagine Nicky falling over?? it would be like the twin towers incident hahahaahha.

I used to wonder how often something like this happens. He's a cool bastard when he spins and skips around widdling away, I'm sure the big grin on his face earns him a few diginity points. Failing that, there's always Nicky shortly after taking the attention away.

Hahaha, this is a brilliant Manics video. Pretty much sums them all up; James looks uber cool even when he's falling all over, Nicky looks a total muppet but somehow gets away with it, Richey is.. well, Richey, and Sean is barely visable.

LOVE this video.
