Tour support Autumn '10

Please move this thread if it should be in 2010 Gig Forum.

British Sea Power for Glasgow apparently:

http://www.o2academyglasgow.co.uk/ev...achers-tickets

I think I would die of joy if they were rolled out across the whole tour. My two favourite bands on the same night.

I love Delays, but BSP are a far superior band and I think they'll find a lot of favour with the Manics' fans. Very similar in some ways.

Never heard of BSP, any good? All I care about is the Manics when I see them, the support slots for them get worse and worse. Cherry Ghost or whatever they were called last time I saw them live were so dire and drab. Christ.

The news on the official site has been updated with: ' with support from very special guests British Sea Power, kicking off in Glasgow on September 29th.'

I guess that means they could be doing the whole tour?

QFT. I'm probably more excited about seeing them again than the manics. Could this be the tour where I finally get to see a manics crowd appreciate a support act?

damn BSP aren't bad but I was hoping we'd get a selection like on SATT, made it more exciting somehow and a bit of variety as its a long tour for the same band

I'd take 1 good band over a half dozen shit ones any day, if you're craving a variety of bands going to numerous gigs on one tour is probably your first mistake.

I so hope it is BSP for the whole tour, which is how I read it. I would be almost as excited about seeing them as the Manics too!

Not when the variety was the 'band' Fear of Music.
