Not quite Manics, but I work in a well known coffee shop and Nicky's duet with Sarah Cracknell is on our instore playlist, so it's being heard everyday by a lot of people!

I'd probably want to kill myself every time I heard it if I worked there.

I read somewhere that the Swansea gig would have been broadcasted by BBC Wales (like the Cardiff Castle last year), is it correct or it was a hallucination?

I'm sure It's already been noted but news to me. I was just clearing out some old CD's and came across- Catch- Bingo. Thought I'd have a read up and see if they are still doing anything- out of curiosity, and, didn't even realise Wayne Murray was in the band. Anyway, It's on eBay for 49p if anyone fancies it!

There was also a microsecond clip of JDB in the Design video as part of a context building "this was the summer of 1996" type thing.

A few hours ago, I watched 4 episodes of Come Dine with Me. They were in Swansea and a bit of If You Tolerate This Your Children Will be Next was played in one of the episodes.

Whether coincidence or intentional, I liked how the line "right here in my dirty face" accompanied the credit for

Director and Producer
ROB FACEY

The chris evans breakfast show was painful to listen through to get to the manics and the music... i had to have a day detoxing on 6music. It was fun listening to nile rodgers getting that warm glow on learning james' first single was my old piano.

Also, something i've been curious about for a while, who updates the fd twitter feed? It's like some ultimate manics fan ai. Not a criticism, it's great, and it is public facing afterall.

There was a repeat of this programme tonight with Simon Price speaking in front of a copy of Generation Terrorists and a painting of himself.

Not TV or radio, but:

Flight to Bordeaux - £150
Hotel in Bordeaux - £200
Ticket to Wales v Slovakia match - £40

Hearing Slash N Burn come on the PA system in the stadium after Wales had just won their first game in a major tournament for 58 years - priceless!!
