Love seeing Manics in Glasgow anyway, had me heart set on first and last night of the tour so sod it, I'd definitely regret not doing it more than I'd regret giving a tout a £50 profit for nowt
i would like to see them in manchester(always get good reviews)but the barrowlands is special.the smell of stale beer and piss, you cant beat it,he he.
but the crowd is always brilliant and the sound is top notch.
they could only play the holy bible in the barras, its dirty, horrible and beautiful, canny wait.
need to put a holiday in for tuesday, though.

This'll be my fifth time seeing em in Glasgow and first time seeing em in the same place twice, really liked Barras last time in April, had a ticket for last year but had to give it a miss last minute. Ha, I've booked my train up, hotel and days off so just need to get tickets now.

They always go down well in Manchester, been at every Manchester gig since XFM. Seen em at a decent spread of venues here, Apollo, Etihad, Night And Day... Not been to Albert Hall yet but it looks like a brilliant building. I'm glad it's not arenas, Wembley would've been a bit crap.. Kinda like the idea of it being in dives but yeah, won't know till I'm there (Barras is only one on the tour Ive been to before) but going by pictures I've seen and word of mouth I'm well happy with the choice of venues

Now that I think about it, next to the £80 I paid for the Postcards shoebox when that came out, £90 for a ticket to see The Holy Bible in Glasgow feels like a bargain

That's good news as I bought tix for 384739 people and I was about to freak out about the risk of letting them down

Just got a ticket for this but need to get either a 23:00 or 3:40 bus to Aberdeen for an exam the next morning. Presuming a fifteen minute run to Buchanan bus station, would the gig be over by 22:30 or 22:35?

^ might be, but they usually aren't on stage till 9.15 and can run for about 1hr30...might be longer with a break and a second set (maybe they will start earlier?)

Depends if they have a support this time or not. Did the JPFL gigs have no support or am I remembering things differently. If that's the case, probably looking at a 20:30 start. And if there is two sets, I guess hoping out before DFL will get me there quickly. I could probably do the exam in my sleep so I'm not too worried anymore.

I was considering getting one of those late busses back up the road to Aberdeen too. With work on Monday & Tuesday its too much hassle. The 3:40am one was only £1 a few weeks ago!

Getting from Aberdeen to any of these gigs is traumatic. The Dublin gig will involve me getting a 6:00 train to Glasgow just to catch a flight....

Just quick look at this and there seems to be lots of folk after tickets still

I'm selling mine. Just one of. Not trying to make profit - just want what I paid back. Also for it to be uplifted from Rosyth Fife. PM me if interested.

******* SOLD ********

Anyone know who is supporting? I see there are support acts confirmed for the Roundhouse dates but not seen anything about anywhere else
