My wonderful girlfriend bought tickets for us this morning. Very happy. I'm going to be booking the hotel next week! Can't wait for this gig! Barrowlands is fantastic!

Really looking forward to this!
I'll give some advice, if anyone's planning on going out before/after it, make sure to go to a bar in the centre of Glasgow. There's bars on the gallowgate around the Barrowlands but they are pretty rough to say the least. |

I remember going in before i saw Beady Eye there in 2011. Utter dump. Thankfully the place has been shut down for a few years now.

Wow, you lot certainly gravitate to some dumps near the Barrowlands. Mono is the one. Maggie May's is like a turd milkshake in bar form.

Me and Karen went to Mono before a Garbage gig a couple of years ago and it was so expensive! I've never been to Maggie May's, I'm pretty much never down that end of town. 13th Note could be a shout.

I wish I was even the slightest bit surprised at reading that.

A few of us ended up at Maggie May's after the gig back in March or April, it was good

Maggie May's is the place to hang if you've every wondered what it would be like to have a of kind Alzheimer's where you hear a football crowd chanting Chelsea Dagger in your head forever, while permanently smelling farts. I'd strongly recommend Mono instead. There's also always an alternative to be found, in the shadow of what the 13th Note used to be.

Yes Mono is expensive because they sell good beer instead of cats piss.
But how long is it even open for? That's why I said the note. Having been to a Holy Bible gig will surely imbue some hipster credo no? Mono will be perfect. |
