I don't get it...people will have to pay 30 for the book plus 11 to attend this...thing?
Whatever it is, isn't it a bit expensive? Who would pay to see the Wire?

Bit harsh, it doesn't seem to be any different from any other 'An Evening With...'/'Meet the Author'-type event. I went to see Jon Ronson at Skeptics in the Pub in August and hugely enjoyed that. Granted, this is more expensive, but that was in Newcastle and this is in Bloody London.

Plus there's a photo exhibition, so it's an art show ( ) a q&a and book signing, I'd say it's decent value at worst. Plus Rough Trade is pretty

But I still find it hard to believe that...50? 100? tickets went sold out in like 6 hrs
