I think the average number of songs per disc would be around 6-7; the earlier singles have relatively few b-sides (2-3) while from EMG onwards you start to get 3+ format singles regularly (making things up to around 7-9).

Yes, I am a nerd and sometimes a very bored nerd with time to spend on imaginary tracklists.
15 on The Everlasting?! I've got to 12 in my head.. 6 from the Dutch cds, 5 between the UK cds with Everlasting, 1 on the cassette... Ooooh 3 more on the promo 12" and one more on the Canadian promo cd.. 16!

Heh, same here... Think I've got every b-side at least twice, even Tennessee (I Get Low). Urgh.

Oh, no I haven't... Everything up to Indian Summer b-sides....

Fucking shame.

I wanted to buy this. I can actually afford it, now.
But it is overpriced, which would be okay, IF IT WASNT INCOMPLETE.

Adding only CD1's is ridiculous.

Like many said, the Blur Box is beautiful. All singles up to No Distance left to run, and each single having as few as 4 and as many as 9 bsides. Crazy.

Example of a "complete" single:
1. Empty Souls
2. All Alone Here
3. No Jubilees
4. Litany
5. Dying Breeds
6. Failure Bounds

If there were any itunes/cassette/vinyl extras, stick them there too and then burn it.
I have no idea how this reduces the cost in any way.

If anything, i'd pay $500 for a FULL, FULL box of EVERY SINGLE, with EVERY B-SIDE, and it would help if every 7 was there - if not, it'd help to have a few in there like this box, and not advertise that "SOME" will have the Motown Junk 7.

There are my two cents. (OR MY $320 THAT I AM NOT GIVING FOR AN INCOMPLETE BOX)

The Japanese reissues from a couple of years ago were put together well, they included the b-sides from the cassettes, vinyl and dvds. It makes no sense at all that this doesn't.

True. I only have KYE, LB and SATT on them, paid $40 each, but they are amazing releases. they contain everything from each era, and bonus live tracks. Great stuff.

No, Failure Bound is exactly what it set out to be - a brilliant and powerful spoken word poem set to atmospheric backing.
Now Dying Breeds on the other hand, that's just shit. Really, really shit.
