I would love a uk Nov/Dec tour but I'm wondering if James will risk his voice at that time of year.

Considering the tour starts at the end of next month, surely we'll hear something off the album in the next few weeks?

It's all very quiet at the moment!

Will probably hear a track in March. I am tempted to go spoiler free on this.

Whereas ironically, on a national level, it's very wet.

I've been wondering if the band will continue to work with Kieran Evans for any future videos. Kireran's videos have really been the perfect accompaniment for the singles. The videos really do partner the whole concept of melancholy of "Rewind The Film". With the promise of a louder, faster sound on "Futurology" will the band return to the jerky super eight home movie style so favoured by Patrick Jones? Or will the band look to use another producer? I'm sure we could see lots of city views of Berlin in any videos.

This also makes me wonder if Kieran's videos will be made available on any future Manics releases. If we have three videos from "Rewind The Film" and possibly another three from "Futurolgy" then it would be great to make these available to fans. But there would need to be something else added in there to make it more appealing to purchase. But the band wouldn't release a dvd just with the videos on it. And to include Kieran's videos as a extra on "Futurology" would be mixing things up too much.

It would seem such a shame if fans couldn't own a dvd of the videos.

Kieran tweeted a week or so ago that he was in Cardiff to discuss 'phase 2' so looks like he is

Thanks MSPKE for the speedy reply. I'd love to see a Kieran/MSP with lots of cold war East German scenes. Now lets get all these Kieran releases on a dvd for fans.

There is a definate sonical change between the first half and 2nd half of the album.

The first few songs follow a definate Krautrock influence but the latter half of the album ventures into pure experimentation.

Very much a heavy guitar album which will please fans who have missed the les paul.
Quite a few solos on it.

It sounds like a heavier version of EMG and lifeblood.

It still has a commercial lean to it.

It isn't THB MK2.
Glad to see this was on the mark!
