I'd be well up for this... the GATS songs sound so much less dated than GT... it's like The Proto Bible. Lots of good TV footage too and band (mostly) looking awesome. James's best ever hair was in the Roses in the Hospital - THB period.

NO. There is no need.
Now a 20th Anniversary Edition of TIMT featuring that 'grungey' version of Tsunami - THAT I would like to see.

Yeah, new album out in 2014 then two years of touring. Remind the world they still exist with 20 years of TIMT in 2018, leading into a new album before their third Greatest Hits collection in 2021.

Reading through all that I've just realised that no one said anything about KYE10 last year... still, Lifeblood 2014 to look forward to!

I'm sure EMG and THB's 10 year versions felt a LOT older when their time rolled around... is this how it feels to get old?

I feel older knowing that it's nearly 10 years since the THB re-issue. Maaaan that doesn't feel that long ago. Exciting times though.

Either way, I don't think the Manics can justify in their own minds reissuing anything else, other than TIMT: Mass critical and commercial success, their first number one, beautiful artwork, a fair few hit singles, loads of b-sides, out-takes and alt. versions. It'll be grand. KYE, LB and SATT just wouldn't have that same massive appeal of something 'classic' to the rest of the world.

I doubt they'll mark THB with anything in 2014. But I would like them to reissue it on 180gram vinyl. That'd do me.

I doubt they'll bother with KYE onwards. GATS and TIMTTMY they have to. They do.

Maybe they'll bother with SATT only?

Would be nice if No Manifesto apears in that...

Nah, while it did rejuvenate the band, the rest of the world doesn't really consider it to be an 'important' album.

Nicky's already talked about releasing KYE as it was originally intended as 2 separate albums. Though definitely want a TIMT one first

While I never loved GATS like I did HB and GT, it would be good to have a repackage if the unissued material warrants it.

TIMT not so much. That was when I stopped buying Manic Street Preachers releases anyway.

You know for a fact there wont be one for LB. Although Depeche Mode reissued "A Broken Frame". Everyone knows that Martin Gore hates that album.

I can see a TIMT one happening but I so wonder how many demos there were at that time. I expect it'd just be the bsides and maybe some radio 1 sessions.
