Yay! Going to the LA show at The Fonda - being familiar with all of LA's music venues, The Fonda is my favorite and the one I would choose, so I'm very happy to see them there. I'll be in the balcony for Holy Bible (perfect sound up there), and up close in the pit for the 2nd set. Can't wait!

(First post. hi!)

hollywood

I have never been there but the yelp reviews seem to indicate this is an incredible live venue. I will be there.

I was surprised at how high the service charges were. Mind you it has been a long time since I bought a concert ticket.

Yeah, that service charge was crap. I bough tickets for Spoon on the same day, and those tix "only" had a $10 service charge. Such a scam.

There's a lot to do, and it can be tough to find your way around. Just stay away from the tourist-traps and you should be fine. Hit Santa Monica just to walk around and check out the beach. Drive out to the desert for some serene peace. Just google info on good restaurants and bars and hit the ones that sound interesting to you. It should be hot next week (over 80-F), so leave your jacket at home.
