What has Sean had in his mouth on tour?

Maybe this thread would be more at home in appreciation... Dunno how long he's had it but I've only just noticed it thanks to the big screens, lad seems to have summat sticking out his gob while he's drumming away, what's that about?

Toothpick innit, he can propel it from his mouth at about 83mph at any band member he feels deserves his wrath.

I can understand the propelling thing but toothpick seems hardly worth the effort, wouldn't do much harm.

We were wondering that - I think it's too big for a toothpick. Looked like the stick of a lolly pop to me?

Maybe he has a tendancy to bite his tongue when concentrating so has a lolly in his mouth to stop this?

Possibly, although I'm still going with lolly.

I wondered about it being summat to aid concentration somehow too. Eh, he'd been fine for over half his life without it though, whatever it is.

I was trying to work it out the other night, lolly pop is my best guess but it had it in for the entire gig. Maybe it's something to do with concentrating, who knows. Someone ask him so we can all sleep easy!

Maybe it's an overkill impression of Clint Eastwood.

If it's a lollipop, perhaps he's making a Little Baby Nothing reference.

Lightbulb

Diaphragm, he wants to imitate the mating calls of Dears so he can shoot them to pass the time waiting for their shows!

I assumed it was a very small james bond sized machine gun to take out his enemies.

Some further possibilities;

Sean is actually knitted, and currently has a loose thread.
or
He carries a tiny drumstick so that he can surreptitiously continue drumming when James performs his 'solo' acoustic numbers.
or
His pet mouse lives in his mouth and sometimes his tail gets stuck (the mouse's tail, not Sean's - that would be silly!).
or
Sean was replaced by an alien cyborg who must occasionally deploy his antenna in order to communicate with the mothership.
or
It's a picktooth, which is like a toothpick, only instead of using it to pick your teeth, your teeth pick at the picktooth, until it is completely clean.
or
It was a piece of fish - he took care eating it as he had been warned it may contain bones. It contained one solitary bone.
or
It is a luxury apartment built especially for Marvel's Ant-Man.
or
It is the world's largest single atom.
or
It is a tiny paintbrush, so that during slower songs Sean can keep busy by capturing the scene on canvas, whilst no-one is looking.
or
It is a miniture conductor's baton, so he can direct the rest of the band. Unfortunately they take no notice, as they can't really see it, they just think he's really into his groove.
or
We may laugh right now, but if the world drowns suddenly, Sean will be prepared by means of his emergency snorkel.
or
It's a lollipick or a toothpop. I don't know what those things are, but that is surely all the more reason not to rule them out at this stage.
