The NME has always been fairly easy to get here so I'm not bothered about that. However, I would appreciate it if one of you lovely Brits could let us know if the Manics article is worth picking it up when it goes on sale here in a few weeks. I don't want to pay for the mag (it's twice the cost here vs what it's sold for in the UK) if it's just a page or two dedicated to them. Plus, like many of you, I'm not a fan of the mag.

Wish I could say the same, it's impossible to get where I live, out in "the boonies."

Don't worry though, I'm sure someone will post scans...they did when the Richey issue came out back in May. |

Gonna get this tomorrow just for the Manics, disgusted they don't have a cover though. Also I emailed NME about claiming the Letter Of The Week Prize and they haven't replied yet.

Franny, I never got my phone when I got letter of the week either and that's over a year ago now! Wouldn't bother chasing the sods up, Mark Beaumont probably nicked it the git! Disgusted that the Manics aren't on the cover. I'll only buy it if it's worth it. If it's only a half page article they can get stuffed.

It's so irritating when you open the NME and read the contents page and it has the name of the band you are interested in and you turn to that page number to see it's just mentioning their tour dates. Big deal.

I can't believe this. Are Paramore really that big? I always thought they were just an average selling US pop punk band. It's all to do with Twillight according to last week's NME so another reason to have no interest in that franchise. I'm gonna be affronted buying this tomorrow! |

Look on the brightside. At least they're not in the shadow of Oasis anymore!

It isn't ? Oh man, I heard a really old school manics demo yesterday called faster. Apparently it was when they had this nut case who jumped off the bridge in the band. |

I'm just complaining cos whenever it was Oasis being bigged up for the following issue they would almost always be on the cover so why is it different for the Manics?
