Did you know the WHOLE channel - that's right, ALL of it - is blocked in the USA???
I can't even begin to imagine what the point of THAT is. It certainly isn't going to help drum up support for any upcoming North American tours. Honestly, I can just barely even be bothered any more....

Yep, blocked here too! Sony apparently thinks we'd be violating music copy write laws if we were to view the vids on that channel. Can't say I understand why. Perhaps the channel is only registered in the UK/Europe. Or maybe Sony just doesn't want them to have too much exposure in N America. I mean, selling records, getting people interested in seeing them live? Pfft! Why on earth would they want that?

I'm often linking new videos from that channel when they've been up for a couple of hours without a single view. Even then something like the acoustic Hazelton Avenue has fewer than 600 views after a week.
It's an embarrassment how poorly it's been handled. The content is getting increasingly good but it's all for nothing. In a medium where a Lady Gaga video can get 300,000,000 views, I too fail to see what possible good they think can come from restricting access.

if Sony didn't block it to everyone outside of the UK, they would probably sell more records around the world, and then Nicky Wire wouldn't be able to moan about "the internet" since it would help make his band a success.
sure, it's cutting their noses off to spite their faces, but God forbid something that Nicky can moan about be taken away from him!

Would it be worth setting up a fansite channel by ForeverDelayed for example? Not sure if that would solve the problem but it could be a nice proposition, ie sifting through and picking the best of the live vids etc?
