4/5 from Heat too.
I remember Drownedinsound giving it 9/10 too.
It's ace and they should just deal with it.

Blow this up to sandwich board size or as large as possible, and force it in the band's face:

Ah this is beautiful! I might print it out!

Everyone should just go absolutely crazy mental for Nixon in protest, mosh along and just sing really loudly and look like it's the most amazing fucking song on the plantet.

They do. From interviews I've gathered that they think the album as a whole is a bit shallow (because, it is) and they only recorded it as a matter of 'survival' (Sean's words)
From what I can gleam, they love the album for reinvigorating the band and all of the success and acclaim that came with it, but aren't overwhelmed with the overall quality of the songs.
I daresay they'll never play an album track live, other than the singles or perhaps SATT, ever again.

SATT is such a weird album where the band are concerned - Underdogs was released to great fanfare as a free single to the fans, and then was disowned faster than Lifeblood. Autumnsong was a very poor choice of single - SATT would have been so much better, a worse decision than not releasing 1985, for me. I would have liked TSGD to have seen a single release too, such a powerful song but not overly commercial. The songs on the album are great but as you say, I doubt if we'll hear anything apart from YLAINE or AS ever again.

Well, we'll get indian summer at least at the O2.....I just wish they wouldn't base their interpretation of a song on how well it's received. Have some pride and self confidence and play what you want to play! Any song you play off any album, or any bside, will please the crowd.

So the reason they dropped Indian Summer after its promo period is because Wayne can't play it? It's a piece of piss man...

If that's the case it proves that not only is a bad singer, he can't actually do his main job properly! Bring back Guy Massey, I say.

Massey was alright, but Naysmith should be banned from music for life.
Anyway, back to Lifeblood - AWESOME. PLAY IT MORE.

That should be a funny scene, with the band looking awkward on stage and everyone in front of them going mental.
I wasn't too impressed the one time i saw them playing this. It needed backing tracks and keyboard wizardry.
