I can't find any possible flaws in naming him Patrick Bateman.

Not wishing to join the waves of pessimism, but I have to agree with you here. I can't help but think of that child a while back who got named after the entire England football squad - surely being that kid you couldn't help but wonder if daddy loved football more than he loved you?

Although if you were going to name your child after a Manic's song, you could always do a Jamie Oliver and call her Sleepflower?

Happy to report that baby Elliott Sebastian entered the world on the 26th May at 2.01am.
We agreed on Elliott regardless that it sounded a bit like Elian.
As yet no Manics music has been played to him!

Congratulations!!!!!!

When my little girl borned i would have called her Kylie or Tracy but my husband told me "NO,her is my daughter too!!!"At the end we called her Emily.But if i had a little boy i would surely call him James,without any discussion

My wife and I are committed to naming our first born son "Julian James."

Julian for Julian Koster, who changed my life, musically, and is one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of seeing perform or meet and chat with.

And James, not just for JDB, but also my father-in-law. So we can sneak it in under the guise of familial connection and not JUST music nerdery.
