OK, thought I'd revive this thread...

+James' guitar work on this album is pretty phenomenal - best playing in yonks.
+Very consistent album - pretty hard to pick just two songs.

-Wire's got his rhyming dictionary out! I know there's a feeling that Richey's words could be hard to sing, but JESUS, some of the lyrics are dire here.
-The production is weedy. Those guitars need justice.

Best Songs - Underdogs, Winter Lovers
Worst Songs - YLAINE, Working Class Hero

+ It sounds like they had a lot of fun making it, which means that I find it really fun to listen to
+ Indian Summer - just gorgeous and has to be one of my favourite Manics songs

- Underdogs - I can't listen to it without cringing, so it's one of the few Manics songs I always skip
- Erm...see, I don't mind this album at all apart from Underdogs. Not my favourite of theirs but I definitely prefer it to PFAYM and KYE. Although I agree that lyrically it's definitely not Wire's best.

Best Songs: Indian Summer, YLAINE
Worst Songs: Underdogs, Working Class Hero

The 2 Positives + of Send Away The Tigers

Great guitar work
Great vocals

The 2 Negatives - of Send Away The Tigers

Lyrically poor.
Lacks substance underneath the bluster of the loud pop nature of the album.

The 2 Best Tracks from Send Away The Tigers

Send Away the Tigers
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough

The 2 Worst Tracks from Send Away The Tigers

Underdogs
Imperial Bodybags

Can only think of negatives, it's probably my least favourite Manics album since Generation Terrorists, and among the 18 odd tracks that could be cut to a reasonably good album.

So the negatives:-
Those girls
Underdogs
Autumn Summer
Lyrically Poor - Which Ironically I don't think Postcards is, just a shame it's a little bit too bland musically.

Nah, I would put Autumnsong close, but IB is just shit pub rock to me. The solo almost saves it however I could happily never hear that song again.

God I hate this album. It's hard to think of any positives. Actually the B-Sides were pretty good.
