Also the cleanshaven look gets rid of the beard problem too, and the last time he was bearded it certainly had a chunk of grey in there.
He doesn't dye his hair. His hair is turning grey at the sides. The length of hair can make quite a dramatic difference to hair colour.

Thankyou. i was in bed after an 18hr working day flying from Bristol to Tenerife to Leeds Bradford then a four and a half hour taxi ride back to Bristol base! Sorry, just wanted a bit of sympathy after a long day then missing out on seeing the Manics, again, on tv. So thankyou for link.

It's a bit difficult not to talk about the usual topics when they're promoting a greatest hits album though. I'm sure they're used to it by now and it's not like they never mention Richey (or their past) themselves either.

Yeah, I wouldn't have said James dyes his hair, just because his beard is very grey. I noticed last year on the PFAYM tour his head hair was starting to get grey patches round the edges. I don't think we're due a Tom Jones moment any time soon anyway, when he suddenly stops dying it and instantly turns into Santa

Simon Price tweeted earlier: Well, my favourite bit of that was the half-second clip of Sean Moore flicking the Vs at the camera. Slightly disappointed to find that this was only an archive clip.

Wink

Great timing! They have TVs in reception where I work, as just as I walked in I heard the end of ADFL and so managed to catch the whole thing. Can't wait for the December gig.

Recently I've seen it short and brownish, and short and blackish. Back in the day it looked positively brown around THB. My mum dyes mens hair and reckons he's been doing it for a while.

Doesn't really matter, he's still THE MAN!
