James frolicking with a dog would've been far better than what we actually got. On the first listen for the album, before I knew this was a song for dogs, I imagined a part of the video with a woman on a sun lounger on a beach, wearing a respectable bikini.

They could have employed James' actual dog. (As far as we know he has one these days).

James and ian both with dogs meeting up in the middle of the vid at the nothingness tree..then walking off again ..yea there ya go

No point in talking about what could / should have been. Wonder what low budget boring rubbish they can whip up for the next video if there is one? Get Patrick Jones in to make it and BANG! 3 poor videos to promote your mass communication album haha! Hmmm.
How do we know if this video is getting airplay anywhere and can we vote to at least get it one play?

They should have done a copy of Single Ladies. James as Beyonce, and Nicky and Sean as the backing dancers.

i doubt it'll get airplay anywhere. Its not war didnt really so thats probably why they made minimal effort with this one.

Lydia- thanks for the Beyonce suggestion...i now have a vision of James in a leotard and high heels.. BRAIN BLEACH SOMEONE!

C'mon James, let's go back to mine. My van is parked over there..I have a little bit of green in the glove compartment for the trip home, if you're interested. Back home in my shed, i have a shit load of disco biscuits and puppies i need to get rid of.

To me the video feels like they didn't try, last minute. It's alright as things go, but it's never going to get that much airtime.

It makes me sad, because I really used to enjoy watching my FD dvd, and I don't think that was just because I was obsessed, I think it's because there are a lot of good videos on there. It seems like they can't be bothered any more.
