The song sounded amazing last night. Fair play. I don't know if the actual music is pulling a RTF though? Can someone enlighten me?

I'm pretty sure it's not the Sugarplum Fairy Dance. The first part of the riff is definitely Tchaikovsky's Slavonic March, I'm not sure about the name of the other classical piece that completes the riff, although I can easily sing all of it in my head.

It's definitely the Alton Towers riff (at least half of it) - Mountain whatever... yeah, so another thing they've pinched two albums running. Gotta love the originality

Im not bothered if they've nicked it to be honest. Part of the motorcycle emptiness riff was nicked from Dancing Queen by ABBA.

Not sure myself. Very much In the Hall of the Mountain King, it's all I can hear. I'll wait for the studio version.

I'm only messing - it's funny how close the riff is though. Every songwriter has nicked stuff from someone else at one point or another, so it's nothing new. Oasis stole part of Supersonic from George Harrison, who stole part of My Sweet Lord from The Chiffons in the first place.

I was thinking Alton Towers throughout it... I do like though it has the dark EMG moments about it.

With the weird digital globe video, the war references, and the obviously 'ahem' operatic riff, did anyone else feel like they were watching Muse during the song?

I don’t even think Muse fans or even Muse like Muse anymore.

I thought Lets Go To War sounded even more like PIL than Europa Geht Durch Mich does.

Quite want to hear this album now.

I wonder if this is the opening track and answers the rhetorical question from 30 Years War, or maybe I'm just over thinking it, the lyrics have a similar sentiment.
