The new 'I can't believe they still include MSP tracks on compilations' thread

...or probably a single post rather than a multi-page thread.

If You Tolerate This is the last track on a new 6 Music live compilation.

I've linked to Sainsburys for any complestists wishing to add an unspecified live version of Tolerate to their collection because that's where we have to buy everything from now.

It's Not War is on a recent one - Stadium Anthems or something I think it's called.

The Manics are Rock Heroes. At least they're on a compilation Rock Heroes (The Most Awesome Rock Anthems In The Universe). The track is Theme From M.A.S.H. and is between Bowling For Soup's Girl All The Bad Guys Want and Joe Satriani's Surfing For The Alien. Could have been worse, they could have been after The Bangles' Hazy Shade Of Winter (since when were The Bangles rock heroes?)

Anyone know if So Why So Sad is on a 'Top Beach Anthems' CD?

The video I guess? I can't imagine any scenario why I would want to hear that on a beach though!

I think it's the only Manics single that has been improved by both a remix and an acoustic. Don't ever remember seeing it on a compilation though. It did disappear for 9 years...

The original's freaking brilliant. Acoustic's average, it takes away all the amazing stuff that goes on in the song.
