Someone told me the Weasley Twins from Harry Potter (obviously not them, the actors who play them) were at the Birmingham gig last year!

Dunno if it's been said but the two brothers in My Chemical Romance LOVE the Manics and talked about them being an inspiration
in an interview filmed this year for Kerrang (can't find the clip but i have seen it)

Also fall out boy had a lyric about richey on their last album before they split up.

I love how he mentions the Manics there, good plug for them...back in 2002 of course. I'd always plug the Manics if I was a movie star or whatever in interviews
