Song's grown on me a lot since I heard the live version from Hammersmith. Surprised they managed to film daytime in Liverpool and Cardiff and still have James and Ian the only two people in the video. I don't mind it... Doesn't really grab ya, like.

I didn't mean 6th form media students do crap stuff, I just know from seeing all my mates stuff a few years ago that that's what most college/ media students do when they make a music video.

You have to wonder what good can possibly come out of making such a video. Like the last one, the TV stations can't possibly play it without losing viewers and it sort of takes any grandiose images you have of the song being performed out of your head.

It's basically the Autumsong Video, only older and more miserable.

But I bet the song is amazing with the intro to a popular 80s cartoon show over it.

Ah right fair enough, sorry I snapped. Loads of people have been saying something along those lines and it's just been doing my head in.

I think we do a music video at some point - I imagine that is that template for most music videos when they do the project!

I think for that to work something interesting would have had to have been going on. Not quite 24, was it?

I liked it, it was moody and dark, and James looked great. OK, no Nicky or Sean, which is a downside, but I preferred it to the last one.

Very much so. Little boxes appearing with Nicky in his hotel back up North or wherever he was, would have been nice

Anyone else disappointed by lack of a comedy moment from Nicky and Sean jumping out of the dark?

I thought it was cool, but only because I'm from near Cardiff and studied in Liverpool so recognised pretty much every location they were at!

Sean could have poked his head out of the cloud with the ray of sun...or at least a hand come down saying "IT'S YOOOOOOOOU"
