James a Forest fan? And who do Nicky and Sean support?

I have recently read that James is a Nottingham Forest supporter. This topic isn't a criticism, I was just curious as to why he chose Forest as his #1 team. Maybe he has Nottinghamshire in his blood!

Also, what footy teams do Nicky and Sean support? I know Nicky supports Wolves (Warrington Rugby League, not Wolverhampton football). I wonder how he'll take it if I reveal to him I'm a Rhinos man!

As I said to some CCFC fans on t'other forum, the reason for choosing English clubs rather than a local side like Cardiff City may have been to do with avoiding getting caught up with the unfortunate violence of a minority that was prevalent during the 70's and 80's. Think that's what Simon Prices' biog gave as maybe a reason. Don't know how things are these days as regards to how you are viewed if you don't support your local team. Some of them on the CCFC forum seemed a bit spiky about it but you do get that alot anyway, people saying you should support your local team among all the home nations.

Let's face it, Forest and Liverpool played attractive and winning football when the Manics were at that 'getting interested in football' age, which could explain James and Sean.

Spurs are the most contrary, unpredictable, contradictory and awkward team in the league, and the second most hilarious after Manchester City (even City fans admit this), so not surprised Nicky likes them.

Nice one on supporting the Wolves, mind.

They were never going to support Cardiff seeing as a group of their fans rioted at one of the early Blackwood gigs chanting "your worse than swansea City"

James gets the thumbs-up from me. I'll always have a soft spot for Nottingham Forrest. They played great football in their day and had two of my all-time ultimate sporting heroes in Clough and Psycho. Keane too of course.

On the other hand, they're the only European Cup winners to be relegated to the third tier of their domestic league.

Van Hooijdy scored 37 goals from 70 appearances, not a bad return. Just my point of view, feel free to take it or leave it.

Kevin Campbell was not at all bad too.

WTF?! Not only do you miss out some of the greats of English football but you say Pierre 'is he actually here today?' Van Hooijdonk is their greatest player?! He scored 95% of his goals for them in division 1! I'd even put Collymore and Bryan Roy above him.
