I'd be happy with a re-release if it meant they put the God Save The Manics tracks on it. Don't have any of them.

^ I have no interest in paying silly money for it, but it would be nice to just have those songs to listen to.

In retrospect, God Save The Manics was baaaaad.
Leviathan though, phwoooar.
Nicky mentioned some leftover Visconti tracks from the LB sessions on Twitter.
I say stick them on there along with the b-sides (some of which were ace), and plug it by making a proper video for 1985 (NOT DONE BY PATRICK JONES) and it get it played on radio.
While you're at it, re-release The Holy Bible on vinyl for the 20th anniversary.

The Lifeblood B-sides were ace.

I'd love a special edition with some live tracks, demos and the Visconti tracks included.

CD1: the album
CD2: the b-sides, the Japanese bonus tracks, God Save the Manics EP, The Instrumental, etc
CD3: The demos/alternative versions from the Patty Jones videos + possible additional such things, live material (incl. the Maida Vale session, IoW Empty Souls and the original Everything Will Be), etc.

You know you want it.

(also yes, God Save the Manics is brilliant)

if God Save The Manics was released as it should have been, i.e. as the extra tracks on the 1985 single, then the world would be a better place.

Aye. Although at the very least I'd love for the EP to have been properly available to begin with. Costs a fortune these days to get a hold of it.

The whole era was ace in the songwriting, it was only really the arena tour for the album that was a bit of a bum note. But the songs from the era are brilliant, one of the few albums these days I can go through without skipping a track

how much is it going for these days? I either paid a fiver or a tenner for mine. Fiver reasonable...tenner probably not
