It has occasionally come to my mind that a scrapbook filled with people's memories of the album, their stories of the album's importance to them, print-outs of all the positive reviews (including the album advertisement leaflet with all the positive review summaries) etc, which would be then sent to the band, could be a rather interesting (and slightly fanatical) project...

ace support so far. if it's the spectacular failure some think it will be, oh well, at least for a brief moment we've maybe made a few new people aware of the album!

That's what I was thinking too.

Instead of buying another copy of Lifeblood, I'll take that money (plus a bit more) and give it to the cancer unit of my community hospital.

you could always give it to some lesser soul who has no copy of it, and thanks for the support.

if this donation turns out to be the only thing that actually happens from the whole project then the project cannot be deemed a failure. good on you, an excellent gesture.

I think it would be better to do this the week after Easter. As people may buy CDs for eachother as gift for Easter and also, they'll have less money to buy anything after Easter.

Why don't you buy someone Lifeblood for Easter? Even the title of the album is almost related to the story of the resurrection.

I like that idea but I guess it would take too much time to do it.

yeah, same. Also, if that means people will have less money after Easter because they've bought gifts or whatever, then surely that's more cause to have it before?
I should point out that I'm not doing this, I don't really want another copy no matter how much the idea of sending one to Nicky makes me giggle.
