Many bands probably do not have any B-sides to release.

"Too Cold Here", "Morning Comrades", and "Automatik Teknikolour" are probably my top three

Love Morning Comrades,Welcome to the Dead Zone,Sepia,Bored Out of My Mind and Automatik Tekhnicolour. SATT era B-sides are all great though,if I had to choose an era.

Listening to some of these b-sides is making me think that a solo JDB acoustic album of otherwise non-acoustic Manics songs would be really lovely.

Yeah, that would be pretty awesome!

Probably Sepia and Montana/Autumn/78. And I like most of the SATT and EMG era b-sides really.
Quote:
It's an amazing track, one of my favourites from the SATT era. Don't feel the need to run away! |

my faves change all the time, partially because the manics write so many fantastic b-sides.. but currently I'd have to say Sorrow 16, the live version of Strip it down and more recently Broken up again.

Mr Carbohydrate as it makes me smile
Everyone Knows/Nobody Cares - if only Lifeblood had been like this Picturesque - using Richey's lyrics (at least in part) but not in a Holy Bible way. Dying Breeds - like a musical version of Primeval. They should get Hannah to cover this. Ballad Of The Bangkok Novotel - Another Nicky vocal. This works as there's no way it would work with a JDB vocal. Should have been on KYE instead of Wattsville Blues Bag Lady - well it wasn't on the deluxe or vinyl Journal so I'm having this. Makes me happy and bouncy. Dunno why ? I AM NOT DEAD and I will not conform. Horses Under Starlight - ponies dancing in a field. No wait the Godfather has put its head in the bed. Love Torn Us Under - gives me the creeps, like insects crawling on a coffin |
