01/11/10 - Corn Exchange, Cambridge

Anyone coming to the worst-sounding venue on the tour?

The sound in there is appalling, awful. I've been stuck here for five years.

I found the sound fine last time I was there! That was in 2007 I guess though! Anyhoo, looking forward to it to say the least!

You have to say though, it's not a patch on the Junction! Cambridge really doesn't deserve a venue like that. I've played both venues too and while the Corn Ex was amazing for the sea of people, the Junction's just fun.

Really? I like the junction, but I really like the corn exchange? I guess you get a different perspective if you play them....I think perhaps it's the long walk to the junction that gets me .

The Junction is s much better, but it's so much easier to get good sound with a smaller venue. And personally I prefer smaller venues anyway.

I'm tempted to do Cambridge. It is sold out on gigsandtours and the Corn Exchange's own website but there are seated tickets on Ents24. My poor knees would be happy with seated Flippin' expensive to get there from Aberdeen though.

Regards,
Marwood.
