If The Manics Were "The Goodies"?

To celebrate The Goodies being repeated over Christmas and Nicky's 70's fixation... which Manic would be best to play them if they ever did a Goodies style video?
They won't of course... we will never see the Manics get blown up and have three dummies thrown across the sky in slow motion, fall onto the ground and then a quick edit of them getting up and dusting themselves. And more's the pity really?

I'd say Nicky would be the Tim Brooke Taylor.
Sean would be the inventor "scientist" Graeme Garden due to his love of technology.
And James would be Bill Oddie.

Although if you think Sean would be unimpressed and not take part then,
Richey would be Tim Brooke Taylor.
Nicky would be Graeme Garden...
...and James would be Bill Oddie.

Have I got it spot on? Or do you think I've miscast? Am I the only one who's thought of this?

I only know Bill Oddie so I suppose James would have to play him!

Gutless, it's still early AM here. It would be an intriguing image.

I just pictured the character Chunk. I'm not sure which Manic would be best to portray him though!

Manics belting out The Funky Gibbon might help them reach the wider audience they crave?

good call, Son Of Stopped, think you have the three of them right!

I think we need a long series of "If The Manics Were..." threads. We've seen sporadic examples in the past (who can forget the Manics as Teletubbies or Lego Street Preachers?) but there's so much potential in the idea.
