I think they should do an Idlewild in April and book a ten night residency in a small to medium sized venue, and play each album in full (or reasonable set list length) per night, with a smattering of greatest hits, or blend them together in a suitable way.
E.g.
Night 1 - GT + GATS
Night 2 - THB + PJFPL
Night 3 - EMG + PFYM
Night 4 - TIMT + KYE
Night 5 - LB + SATT

Then record each night to download. Oooooh. That would be ace. One can dream.

My favourite Wireism was that Know Your Enemy wasn't the Manics best album, but was one of the best albums ever.

Nicky's already said in this month's Q magazine that they'll never do album shows 'cause then you're a living museum' or something....or in other words 'ACTUALLY LEARN DIFFERENT SONGS?!?!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

But yes what Idlewild did (TWICE, in Glasgow and London) was brilliant
