I've seen them in December three or four times and they've NEVER played Last Christmas.

I really don't think I'll be going to this. Brum is that week anyway, plus I'm going to London on the 17th to see Lady Gaga, so don't really want to make two trips, or stay in London for three days. Plus, apart from the Manics the line-up does nothing for me. I went to the Manchester one in 2006, but as others have said, they didn't tour that year, whereas I'll be seeing them that week anyway this time.

I agree if you add the end part of 'then gets the shit kicked out of him on stage by all of the bands. And Sean.'

Brilliant! Us Midlanders will have to make sure we get them well rocking the night before!

Plus it is likely to be 10 or 12 tracks and very "greatest hits", no rarities in sight. In fact I bet it goes almost exactly like this:

It's Not War Just The End Of Love
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough
Motorcycle Emptiness
Roses In The Hospital
If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next
Kevin Carter
You Love Us
Autumnsong
You Stole The Sun From My Heart
A Design For Life

...with maybe The Everlasting or EMG or Masses.

Could've been worse though - if they were headlining the other show then we'd have had the fucking View. Bleeeeeerrrrrrrgh.

Regards,
Marwood.
I'd put money on SKON instead of It's Not War. It will just have been released, however, if it does as badly as the first single, then it'll probably be Ocean Spray (which I like!)

Manchester line up is a bit rubbish really. Wombats headlining?! At least the Manics could do Brixton on their own.

In fairness, they've hardly been stingy with Northern dates this tour...
