Yeah, I thought that. It's called the Ramada Jarvis now, my friend stayed there last month when she came over to England. From what I could see, Ramada Jarvis are a chain that took over the hotel, because there are others around the country so I doubt the Jarvis was there in 1995.
Also, the room number - the Rob Jovanovic book said it was 516 but the card says 561. Unless the book is wrong? I don't know?

The Ramada hotel chain started in the US in the 1950s. According to the Ramada Jarvis website, the Jarvis hotel chain (which itself started in the UK in 1990) started a franchise agreement with Ramada in 2001. So, yes, it is possible that the Embassy was a Jarvis-owned property in 1995. I'm just wondering if it was a non-Jarvis hotel then, but taken over by Jarvis sometime after that.

Most sources says the room number was 516, (Simon Price's book, Everything, does), but there are a few sources which say it was 561.

Wow, I love how sensible some of you are. Tbh, I actually took it for granted that the receipts were genuine. I mean, when you're dealing with individual's who have some how managed to get their hands on some fairly intimate pix of the guy, you kind of take it for granted that their obsession really knows no bounds.

Still, as someone else mentioned, those items are probably stashed away somewhere in a file with the authorities (well, the toll receipt at least...can't see what value the hotel registration would have been to their investigation) so I should think it would be quite a feat for someone to gain access to them especially when there have been so many accredited journalists/writers who have tried and failed.
