Holy crap! How did I forget Taxi Driver!!! AND I totally forgot about it being influenced by the soundtrack!! I remember reading it somewhere ages ago.

I just listened to the song; I see what you mean. Definitely worth considering. Thanks for reminding me about the connection.

Chop the shots up in the Taxi Driver scene and run them in reverse order (or just run the film backwards maybe? Or both?), reverse the audio of Cardiff Afterlife (the intro/middle8/ending bit before the lyrics come back in should give you plenty to mix up).
