Mertesacker Emptiness

Not sure if anyone else has watched this but as a lover of both football and The Manics, have to say it is very good indeed.

Hope I'm not reposting or breaking house rules by linking to it but I was impressed....

As a fan of both Per Mertesacker and the Manics this is just stunning.

I'm hoping this catches on and ME begins getting played pre game at Arsenal.

The video has had over 50,000 views in three days. That's a faster pace on the road to 100,000 than any of the recent MSP promos.

It remains to be seen if this pleases YT view count obsessive Nicky or not.

This could be the international breakthrough for the Manics. Their last shot at mass communication! Lets get Motorcycle Emptiness back in the charts

This is so funny! It's been all over FB the last two weeks or so, and that's awesome, because even people who'd never ever heard of the Manics before start listening to them now, or at least read up on them! A friend of mine (who knows that I'm obsessed with the Manics AND the World Cup) said: "Could it get any better for you?" He's a sports journalist, so I've asked him to plant a couple of undercover Manics fans in the stadium tomorrow, who would then launch into the song. ;-) And I'm hoping for some commentator to mention it tomorrow, too - that would just make my day. Manics mention on the German telly, that's unheard of! (Outside of music shows, at least.)

As a Spurs fan, he'll probably be tempted to ignore it for a while. Not forever though
