Mel's C and B, formerly of The Spice Girls. (Dunno if theys still do, mind). Daniel Radcliffe had Masses on his ipod at one point. Some fashion designer bloke had A Design For Life on his playlist thing according to Q magazine. Simon Cowell said he liked them somewhere, possibly a dodgy teen mag I was randomly flicking through! Erm, can't think of anyone else at the minute.

Michael Stipe. (Dunno if he's a mega fan or anything but has said he likes them)

Someone said on here that they bumped into Christopher Brookmyre at the Barrowlands gig in 2009, so presumably he's a fan. And John Niven, but he's now more of a friend to the band than a fan.

I can't remember the groups name but they had a hit called 'More Than Words' and the singer reviewed THB and loved it and became a fan.

If you're read brookmyre's early books, there's a manics reference, sometimes subtle sometimes not, in a few in a row, not including the first one I think.
A friend spoke to him once around the time of know your enemy and he was loving that album. He definitely was a fan anyway

The All Blacks were at the Cardiff Homecoming gig - they even got a shout out from the stage. I remember them towering over Sean in the bar and Miss O chatting several of them up.

Richard Curtis was at the first Brixton date in 2001.

John Lydon definitely said he was a fan in an interview, although this was in about 1995, not sure what his opinion is of stuff they've done since then

Extreme? I'm quite surprised by that.

I know Stipe said in a few interviews from around 2000 after meeting the Manics and being apologised to that he found their music filled with great melodies and whatnot. No idea what music rag though sorry.
