Haven't played it today and stereo better after a dust and listened to it until 10.30ish last night. Lost count of how many times I listened to it.
Only Vivian not telling with me yet. Seriously best album they've made of this decade. The entire century so far? It's got a strong case. And I love KYE and Lifeblood!

Golden is also Number 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart this week. With 6,400 vinyl albums sold, it is the fastest-selling vinyl album of 2018 so far. The collector appeal doesn’t stop at vinyl; Kylie’s Golden is also the fastest-selling cassette of the year to date and has already outsold the best-selling artist album cassette of 2017, Kasabian’s For Crying Out Loud.
Let’s hope that we take Kylie’s all-important cassette crown off her next week.

Dear FD

This is the best thing they've done since Journal For Plague Lovers. Up with their best. Looking forward to this tour and now looking to add another date to my schedule.

Dear MSP

Thank you for providing the soundtrack of my life and growing old(er) with me.

Agreed. I think if they had merged the best tracks from RTF and Futurology it would be a contender, but this is definitely their most consistent album since JFPL.

Hold Me Like a Heaven is the one that's doing it for me from this batch of songs.

After a few listens, I'm really, really enjoying it. It sounds sort of euphoric, but I can't really explain why. It also sounds super-produced, very shiny, but not in a bad way.

If you buy the album on Google play, iTunes etc, does it come with s digital copy of the booklet?

”We’ve rehearsed seven songs off the new album,” reveals Bradfield. “We’ve dusted off six or seven songs we haven’t played in more than 15 years. We’ve rehearsed one song we’ve never played live at all as well.”

“We’ve also practised two new covers – and I’m in the process of shaking up the acoustic section a bit.”

Oh well, it’s nice there’s a review for people who don’t like it to agree with too.

I hope they don't play two covers at the upcoming gigs, they have a new album out and 12 others to draw from and awesome b-sides.

I’m guessing Garageland will be played as they seem enthusiastic about that. But, yes, they have a lot to fit in there.
